The Age of Fishes Museum contains 360 million year old fossils. It is one of only two fish fossil museums in the world. The fossils are from a National Heritage Site at Canowindra and are of international scientific significance.

360 MILLION YEARS AGO

The Devonian Inland rivers and lakes teemed with fish. The invasion of dry land had begun but the majority of life was still underwater. Life looked very different and this is the time when our fossils were alive.
